Hedgehog Fibres kommen aus Cork, Ireland. Seit Beata Jezek strickte, wünschte sie sich Garne in besonderen Qualitäten und Farben – also begann sie selbst zu färben. Zunächst nur für den Eigenbedarf bestimmt, entwickelten sich ihre Garne zum Renner im Bekanntenkreis, so sehr, dass sie 2008 beschloss, Hedgehog Fibres zu gründen. Die gebürtige Slowakin, die seit Jahrzehnten in Irland lebt, ist bekannt für ihre bunten Farbkombinationen und außergewöhnlichen Garne.
